While the bar tender gives Last Call at our favorite beach bar, a feeling of melancholy washes in with the fading summer tide. Late August signals the sunset of the beloved summer season. I’m reminded of a song by the Moody Blues called Long Summer Days. Here, we plead with summer asking her to “take me back and let me start again”. The days of loose schedules, casual clothing, goofy ponytails, and our favorite warm-weather activities start to lose focus, as we realize how the leisurely rhythms of summer have disrupted our intentional habits and failsafe routines.
Our attention begins to drift and shift into the near future, bringing into focus our Fall Frames. September is the perfect time to reassess your goals and identify What’s Important Now. In fact, the fall can feel like a new year, where individuals, companies, CEO’s and entrepreneurs embrace the opportunity to reassess what still remains to be accomplished and work hard for the rest of the year to make it great. These frames give us familiar routines that require disciplined habits that often lead to successful outcomes. Push your RESET button this last week in August and find out what Fall Frames come into focus for you. This is the ideal moment to create a clean slate and reset.
